Before launching my business in Real Estate I had a successful career in Radiology working in trauma centers both in Florida and here in Colorado Springs. I carry a license as a Radiology Technologist, a CAT scan Technologist, and have a Bachelor’s in Health Care Management. I love the medical field especially the imaging department, but desired the freedom of developing my own personal business based upon my core values. Residential real estate was a natural transition for me as I have been the owner/manager of my own rentals for over 15 years and love the interaction with renters as well as the orchestration of flipping the units. I had surrounded myself with a loyal group of trusted professionals before ever entering the residential side of real estate. My first year in business was with a smaller local company that provided a great threshold from which I bounced my Real Estate career. I immersed myself in any and all training, marketing, and mentoring available while following a very specific business plan previously prepared. I knew the direction I wanted my business to go. By my 4th month I had surpassed all the agents of the entire company and received the Top Write up sales award for that quarter. In addition I received an award for Rookie of the quarter for the 1st and 2nd quarters of that year. This was during the worst down turn in the market while seasoned agents were hanging up their licenses. I contribute my successes that year to hard work, core values, and putting my clients first. The decision to move my business and to align with the largest most successful Real Estate organization in the El Paso County was inevitable. In order to obtain the most benefit for my clients I had to move to a more progressive, innovative, technological savvy organization. I am able to provide greater service to my clients with world class marketing, while having access to the largest venue for professional resources to accommodate any issues that arise during the transaction. From interview to closing and beyond, my clients receive the level of service that is beyond their expectations and makes them feel comfortable referring me to their friends, relatives, and coworkers.
Working With An Agent >A Real Estate Agents Reality
The process of guiding a home sales transaction is in reality more complex than many people realize. When qualified buyers present an offer on your home, it might seem that the deal is done, but this is only the beginning of the negotiations process. Ideally, this aspect of the transaction culminates in a meeting of the minds. At no point can the real estate agent just sit back and relax, because the "glue" that holds each transaction together is subject to a variety of factors and forces that may cause the deal to fall apart.
We can only hope that there are no surprises during the home inspections. We have to presume that the appraiser will think the house is worth as much as the buyer and seller do, but this is never guaranteed. As the buyers make their loan application, we cross our fingers that the credit report reveals they always pay their bills on time.
Rarely is a transaction completed without a few problems. A real estate agent's professional skills come into play primarily during the time between contract ratification and the closing. At this point, we use our creativity, patience and negotiating skills to achieve a happy resolution to your transaction.
